We know just how much commitment and hard work goes into achieving our qualifications. That’s why we will guard against anything that risks questioning the integrity of any element of your qualification. Doing so protects both your interests and that of all our future and current members. Ensuring that employers can continue to trust and value the technical expertise, experience and ethical standards which our qualifications represent.

We use a wide range of robust checks, processes and security measures to ensure the integrity of our qualifications. As technology and the environment evolves, these processes are frequently reviewed. The vast majority of future members study, take exams/modules, and record their Practical Experience Requirement in a responsible and ethical way. Our commitment to them is that when an integrity risk has been identified we will take swift action.

We will issue a nullified result when the validity of an exam may be called into question due to an event, act or omission, undermine (or threaten to undermine) the validity and credibility of an exam result. In these instances, to maintain the security of our exam model and processes, it is not possible for ACCA staff to disclose the exact nature of irregularities identified. However, we can confirm that nullified results would never be related to any technical fault.

Should students wish to know more about our nullified results processes, they can find more guidance on our website.
