To be eligible for an ACCA Apprenticeship, you must be working in England and at least 50% of your working hours must be completed in England.

For the Level 7 Professional Accountant Apprenticeship which follows the ACCA Qualification, you’ll need to check that your qualifications meet the minimum entrance requirements.

If you don’t yet meet the minimum entry requirements for the qualification, you can join the Level 4 Accounting Technician Apprenticeship which begins with the Foundations in Accountancy programme, and provides a clear pathway to progress onto the ACCA Qualification and Level 7 Apprenticeship.

Filling in your application
To complete your application, you’ll need:

  • Proof of identification such as a driver's licence, national ID card, passport, or birth certificate.

  • Official translations of any documents not in English, stamped by a licensed translator who is authorised and qualified to provide translation services.

Exemptions
You may wish to apply for exemptions. Learn about exemptions in our article Learn about exemptions, and use our exemption calculator to see which ones you may be eligible for.

Registration code
If you have been provided with a registration code, please enter it when prompted in online application. If you don’t have a code, simply leave this blank.

If your registration code isn’t working, please contact the organisation or provider who gave you the code.

Fees and charges
Apprenticeships in England are largely funded through the government’s apprenticeship levy. This means training costs are covered by government funding and the employer’s contribution; the student pays nothing.

You may be reimbursed for fees you pay to ACCA, or your employer and learning provider may contact us to arrange direct invoicing through Partner Services.

Annual subscription
Every year, you’ll pay an annual subscription fee. This should be paid by your employer while you’re on the apprenticeship.

Your first payment will be taken during registration. After that, the fee is payable each year on 1 January.

For a full breakdown of costs, visit our fees and charges page.
