There are different reasons why your application to register with ACCA could be declined.
1. Your application was on hold as we needed some further information, but we didn't hear back from you on time
If you were asked to provide more information to complete your registration, and we didn't hear back from you, your application would be declined after 90 days. If you paid a registration fee, this would have been refunded to your original payment method.
Don’t worry, if you’d still like to register with ACCA, you can simply start a new application
2. You have previously registered with ACCA and already have an ACCA ID
If you have been registered with ACCA before then your application may have been rejected as a duplicate. If you already have an account with ACCA, then you cannot submit a new application. The only exception to this is for the Diploma in International Financial reporting.
If your previous account with ACCA has lapsed, then you need to apply for readmission.
3. You don't meet the minimum entrance requirements
If you have applied for a qualification but you don't meet the minimum entrance requirements, we are unable to complete your registration. However, you can instead start at our foundation level course, which has no entry requirements.
Details on the entrance requirements for each of our qualifications can be found on ACCA Global.
