Choosing which exemptions to accept
When you apply for exemptions, you will be presented with all of the exemptions that you are eligible for. However, you don't have to accept all the exemptions offered to you.

You should carefully consider which exemptions to accept. You can access your offered exemptions on MyACCA. Making the correct decision up front will ensure you don't pay for exemptions that you might need to forfeit later.

Forfeiting existing exemptions
If you have already accepted exemptions but want to forfeit some or all of these, then you need to submit an exemption forfeit application

University of London BSc in Professional Accountancy
To be eligible, you must pass the Financial Reporting, Taxation, and Audit and Assurance exams. Should you have an exemption from any of these exams, you will need to forfeit the exemptions and pass these exams with ACCA.

You will not be able to forfeit any exemptions if you have already passed a Strategic Professional exam.

Forfeited exemptions cannot be reclaimed. It's important to note, that once you choose to forfeit an exemption, it cannot be reinstated later. Ensure you’re confident in your decision before proceeding.

Exemption fees and refund policy
Exemption fees are non-refundable. If your exemptions were awarded more than 14 days ago, you will not receive a refund when the exemptions are forfeited.
